We are excited to announce that our new site in Bromley will be opening its doors in Spring 2025. Currently under construction, Ladybird Bromley will be situated on Winlaton Road, walking distance from Beckenham Hill train station and Beckenham Place Park.
The property is being completely refurbished to create a state-of-the-art nursery across two floors, offering a modern yet homely early years environment. The setting will accommodate up to 60 children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. The preschool and toddler groups will be based on the ground floor across two rooms, whilst the baby group will be on the first floor in a large open-plan space. Each room will be bright, airy and designed specifically to cater for the development group it serves, with much of the furnishing coming from Community Playthings, a market leader in early years furniture.
A bespoke sensory room situated on the first floor has been designed for Ladybird Bromley. The room will be filled with light, colour, texture and sound, allowing children to explore their senses.
The garden will be split into two areas, one designed to stimulate the minds of the younger children, and the other aimed towards the pre-school group with a large space for physical activity. There will be a canopy covering one section of the garden, allowing outdoor sessions all year round. In addition, there will be an indoor physical play facility at the back of the garden for children to play and develop their gross motor skills.
The nursery will be fully air conditioned and fitted with comprehensive security systems. There will also be secure buggy and bicycle stores on the front driveway.
At all of our nurseries, we aim to work in partnership with parents and value them as their child’s first and most important educators. That is why Ladybird Bromley will offer a dedicated Parent Room, where we encourage chats with staff about their child's development and wellbeing. It is also an area where parents can have a coffee, socialise with each other, relax during settling sessions, or catch up on some work.
