Ladybird Nurseries began in 1995. Inspired by her son Eshan's positive experience at our Anerley setting, Priya took over the nursery that year. She was soon driven to expand, opening our Beckenham nursery in 1997, guided by a commitment to personal, family-led care.
As both settings gained an excellent local reputation, Eshan joined his mother after university to help grow the Ladybird group. Together, they opened Ladybird Penge in 2017 and Ladybird Thornsett in 2020.
Our commitment to quality, supportive care continues to drive us forward. For this latest stage of growth, the family team expanded further: Eshan was joined by his wife Rusika, his brother Rohan, and his sister-in-law Serena. Together, this expanded team is delighted to announce the opening of two new exceptional nurseries at the end of 2025: Ladybird Bromley and Ladybird Chalfont.

We create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all children and their families.
All of our nurseries have outdoor spaces for our children to explore, learn and develop in. Children spend time in the garden every day.
All of our settings are open 51 weeks of the year from 8am – 6pm and are conveniently located close to local bus and train stations.
We offer a variety of inclusive activities to enhance our children’s learning experiences and to spark curiosity.
All meals are freshly prepared daily on the premises by our own chefs and are carefully designed to provide good nutrition whilst making healthy-eating fun.
Our staff strive to deliver the very best care for every child and are committed to providing a safe and secure environment where children can learn and develop.
Every child who attends our settings will be assigned a key person to act as a bridge for the child between their home and the setting.
We offer free settling in sessions for your child to adjust to the new environment.
We have a simple fee structure which covers all meals, nappies, wipes, formula milk and extracurricular classes.
